Farm Scale

A Modern Farm
Built for Scale

Bamakawa Farm spans over 15 hectares in Kano State, housing multiple production units for layers, broilers, and a dedicated feed mill. Our infrastructure is designed for high-volume, consistent production year-round.

We operate a closed-loop system — feed production, bird rearing, egg collection, meat processing, and distribution all happen under one management structure. This ensures quality control at every step.

End to End

From Hatchery to Delivery

01

Hatchery

Our hatchery maintains 98%+ fertility rates. Day-old chicks are vaccinated and checked by our veterinary team before entering the rearing houses.

02

Rearing

Birds are raised in climate-controlled, naturally ventilated houses. Density is kept low for welfare and performance. Feed and water are automated.

03

Quality Control

Weekly health inspections, feed testing, and performance tracking by our in-house veterinary team. Any underperforming flock is immediately reviewed.

04

Halal Processing

Broilers are slaughtered on-site by certified Muslim slaughtermen following the Zabiha method. All birds face Qibla. Tasmiyyah is recited for every bird.

05

Cold Chain

Processed meat is immediately chilled or frozen and stored in our temperature-controlled facility. Cold chain is maintained throughout delivery.

06

Distribution

Our refrigerated fleet delivers across Kano and surrounding states. We work with third-party logistics partners for nationwide distribution.

Our Commitment

Halal at Every Stage

Halal is not just a label at Bamakawa — it is embedded in how we feed our birds, manage our farm, and process our products.

Halal Feed

No animal by-products or prohibited ingredients in any of our feed formulations.

Zabiha Slaughter

Trained Muslim slaughtermen, proper method, tasmiyyah recited — every bird, every time.

Independent Audit

Our halal status is audited annually by an independent certification body.
